Empanadas and non alcoholic beverages will be served, with discounted ($8) wine, beer, and cocktails available for purchase.

Partners, kids, and pets are all welcome. A few folks have also confirmed that they plan to attend solo. Chill vibe; no programming or speeches planned. Bring old photos to share if you want.

Suggested Donation: $10 - $30 per person. Some of the organizers have agreed to cover the cost of the venue and snacks, and we don’t want anyone to stay away for money reasons, but if you’re in a position to chip in, please Venmo Brooke.

Last year, we found ourselves talking about the uniqueness of our Gold Trail experience.  The gorgeous landscape, the exceptional people we knew, and the many ways being part of such a small community over so many formative years shaped us.

Brooke then shared that at the 10-year Ponderosa High School reunion, she had talked with Brenda and Joey about how they’d all rather be at a Gold Trail reunion.  When Courtney noted that the 30th anniversary of our 8th-grade graduation was approaching, a plan began to take shape.

Each of us has our own story about the years at Gold Trail.  And we all have new stories to tell now, as our lives have led us to new people, places, and experiences both near and far from the place we all once called home.  But for better or worse, Gold Trail played a significant role in making us who we are.

So let’s gather, fellow Blazers, to mark the 30 years that have passed since our Gold Trail days.  What we’re hoping to create is something down-to-earth: rich with the sentiment these moments invite, and grounded in reality.  We’ve gone on to live very different lives and hold very different perspectives.  And so, we invite you to share your story, to join us in a spirit of curiosity and care for the people with whom you spent significant time and space, and to acknowledge the journey we shared.

Love,

Brooke & Courtney C.
